What’s one project or installation that stands out as especially memorable? 

One of my favorite things about my job is turning a client who is unsure, worried and stressed into one who is happy, confident in their decisions and proud of the end result. That energy shift is very satisfying and lets me know we are doing the right thing. 

How do you approach helping customers choose the perfect window treatment?

I run the Service Department, so I help clients to fix any problems they may have. So, I’ll start by asking a lot of questions to understand what the problem is, what the client has already done to fix it, and offer solutions based on my findings. Helping a client find a resolution to their own problems is empowering for them and something I enjoy doing. 

What product or feature are you most excited about right now?

The PowerView app is probably my favorite aspect of Hunter Douglas products, as a whole. There is a certain prestige when you have your motorized shades on a schedule and they open/close to where you want, exactly when you want. 

If you could style any room in your home with Austintatious products, what would you choose and why?

I love the Duette shade. It is very energy efficient, I love the sharp lines and it is a very dependable product line. 

What trends in window treatments are you loving right now?

I love how popular wiring for shades is becoming. It is a great option for new-build homes. 

What do you love most about working with the Austintatious team?

The unwavering support that we all offer each other is like nothing I’ve ever seen. This team is a small, tight-knit group and we really look out for each other and we understand our success relies on each individual being successful. 

How would you describe the Austintatious experience to a new customer in just three words?

Helpful. Informed. Courteous.

Iced White Mocha all day! (Half-sweet, of course) 

What’s your weekend look like when you’re not working on beautiful homes?

Spending time with my 12 year old son, playing soccer or working on house projects is where you’ll find me!
