What’s one project or installation that stands out as especially memorable?
I traveled with one of my favorite design teams to Cape Cod, where we installed an entire home of custom shades and draperies in a classic Cape Cod style home. It was a fantastic collaboration and required one trip to measure and one trip to install. I had to get all the details right on the first trip and then work remotely on all the fabrication. It went off without a hitch and is one of my most proud and memorable installations!
How do you approach helping customers choose the perfect window treatment?
First and foremost, I ask a lot of questions and then I listen to my client. Window coverings are the quintessential blend of form and function when it comes to design. The product has to look beautiful, but it also has to function properly, and so I marry my experience and knowledge of the product with what my client’s needs are to make sure the right choice is made!
What product or feature are you most excited about right now?
I am always excited about custom drapery-it is amazing how much drapery elevates and enhances the space. It may not be the newest, hottest trend, but it is a classic that will always be in style!
If you could style any room in your home with Austintatious products, what would you choose and why?
I have styled all my rooms with Austintatious products! I have a mix of shutters on my arched windows, Pirouettes on my back living windows so that I can enjoy a beautiful soft shade that gives me a great blend of light and privacy. I also have honeycombs in my guest rooms for room darkening and energy efficiency and of course custom drapery panels in my dining room for a wow factor!
What trends in window treatments are you loving right now?
I am loving the innovations in motorization and Smart Shade technology. I specialize in helping clients with prewiring their home at the first stages of building so they can maximize the benefits of low-voltage motorization.
What do you love most about working with the Austintatious team?
We are a family-it may sound cliché, but it’s the truth. The entire team shares the same values-we want to do what is best for our clients and we truly look out for each other.

What’s your weekend look like when you’re not working on beautiful homes?
My husband and I love to travel. NYC is our favorite place to visit, and we have two daughters who live there. When we aren’t traveling, we are hanging out by our pool playing card games!
