The “custom” aspect refers to more than just the fabric and includes the use of liners, length, motorization, and hardware of the final installation. But have no fear! Our team is here to help you navigate your options by focusing on your goals. We’ll ask a series of questions to help determine the best solution for the project, such as — what type of window are we treating? Would you like complete light control? Will you be opening and closing them frequently? Do you have a color palette or specific material in mind?
When it comes time to discuss fabric choices for your custom drapery, we’ll bring you to what we call “Drapery Corner” in our showroom to view our selection. We are continuously adding to the collection to ensure we offer the latest styles and are always on-trend! We strongly encourage customers to feel their options and bring home a swatch to visualize it next to the rest of your decor.
Bedding
Oftentimes, we work with homeowners looking to furnish or overhaul a space from top to bottom. In which case, when choosing a drapery we look for opportunities to tie in other textiles. We may suggest pulling in a specific pattern or color from the drapery fabric into your bedding to help the space feel polished. If a particular fabric design calls to you, our team is able to integrate it across shams, duvet covers, decorative pillows — even the bed skirt!
The process is similar to choosing custom window treatments — you’ll work with our design team to select the details and size specifications and will have new custom bedding within 6-8 weeks!
Upholstery
Our team also loves to bring a piece of furniture back to life with new upholstery! We’ve seen a rise in upholstered chairs that act as a statement piece in a room. By pulling in a complementary pattern or color from your window treatments — it encourages visitors to look closer and appreciate all of the subtle details that went into designing the space. This treatment isn’t limited to chairs and can be applied to benches, loveseats, and couches as well. If you’d like to give your window treatments extra love, we can also create custom fabric roman shades and add touches to cornices and valances.
