Shelby has been with the team for eight months. Having previously worked in the fitness & wellness world, she is now following her other passion: home décor. She loves working with clients, helping them find the perfect solution for their window covering needs, and ensuring they have a great experience.

What drew you to Austintatious?

It all started with my friend Lacey! I used to be her coach at Orangetheory Fitness, and one day she shared a status on Facebook about her job hiring. I had no idea what exactly she did, but I knew she was always having fun and meeting so many awesome people. I ended up reaching out and asking her for more information and the rest is history!

What is your role at Austintatious?

My role is Design Consultant. It is my responsibility to make sure our clients are satisfied from start to finish. The window-covering world can be very overwhelming if you are brand new to it. So I always do my best to make sure my client is 100% confident in what they are receiving. 

What would you like clients to know about Austintatious?

Austintatious has been in the business for over 20 years, and there is a reason for that. Our team does everything they can to make an everlasting impression on each client. Our team works as one unit, which makes the entire experience that much better. Regardless of who you work with, we can find a solution that works for you.

What is your favorite part of your workday?

Being able to make an impact on the client and their home. We aren’t just providing window coverings but creating a living space that is welcoming and makes the client proud of where they live. I love being able to connect with my clients and learn more about who they are!

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

You can always find me on the water! This Texas heat is no joke, so you might as well make the most of it with a cruise on the lake.

What is your favorite thing about being in/near Austin?

You can never be bored. There is always something to do/see! I have a running list of places I want to visit in Austin and the surrounding areas.

Where’s your favorite place to eat in Austin?

Brooklyn Heights Pizza! Not only do they have the BEST pizza by the slice but also TVs to catch your favorite sports team (Woo Pig!).
