- If your remote is not lighting up, then try changing the remote battery (2430 Lithium 3V) by using a small screwdriver to remove the screws on the backside of the remote, and remove the cover.
- Somfy shades require 8 AA Lithium batteries. These can be changed by unscrewing the cap on the battery wand, taking the old batteries out, and gently sliding the new batteries in place. Do not drop the batteries into the tube, as this can damage the seal on the batteries and cause corrosion.
